2nd Year Anniversary

Today is Chris and mine's 2 year anniversary. WoW....I can't believe it's been 2 years, haha seems as tho we only met yesterday. We started off with the day with sleeping in.....well I slept in til noon haha....and Chris woke up about 10. He's an early bird and I am the night owl. The afternoon, we played our most favourite game in the whole world. World of Warcraft!!! For about a couple of hours. Then got ready for dinner. Chris made reservations at Capones Restaurant & Live Jazz Club for us. It was nice cause it was part of DineOut Vancouver. So we enjoyed a 3 course meal for $35 each, I don't know if anybody has been to Capones, but after looking at the regular prices in their menu it was really worth it!! We started of with appies, Chris had the Spicy Chicken Skewers which had Candied pecan fillets, coconut milk, chili & portwine jus, it was really good and I had Classic Bruschetta. I love Bruchetta!! For our entrees I had Beef Striploin, this was really good and the portion was huge and Chris had B.C. Snapper....which we agreed was ok lol. During dinner we chatted about work, the wedding, and our future plans. After it was dessert....I had Belgian Chocolate Mousse sooo good and yummy!! Chris had the Triple Berry Cheesecake which was also good but we agreed mine was better. So overall we were happy with dinner and really full! They gave us a ballot to fill out to win $100 gift certificate to the restaurant hehe if I win maybe we can have another ladies nite there!! Then we left and went home, we were gonna rent a movie but it was getting late since now we BOTH had to work the next day. When we got home I gave Chris his anniversary present....hehe it's not want you think.....that present I gave him last nite haha :p. I made him a shirt with his favourite activity on it. He was really surprised and LOVED it!! So that was it for our special day...pretty laid back. I love this anniversary because V-Day is just around the corner...hehe. Ladies Nite!!

Last night, Susan,Candy,Liz,Lucky and I went out for a girls night. It was very interesting,entertaining and fun!! Susan had won gift certificates to Whine-O's on Granville and Nelson. It's a lounge type of place. Cool atmosphere....the bartender and waiter were cute! So we snacked on yummy appies, like Risotto Cakes, Mozza Sticks, Hommus,Tortelinni and drank sweet Sangrias. After filling up our bellys and getting a bit buzzed of the drinks, we decided it was time to head to Celebraties. Liz went home afterwards cause she was missing Rylan, o-well....at least she got the time to go out for some "Me" time. After Whine-O's the rest of us headed to Celebraties. Every fourth Wednesday of the month they have an event called Silk and Spice Night. Its a benefit to raise money for Aids Awareness in Asia. We got there at about 11pm and the drag queen show was starting at 11:30-11:45pm? We hung around talked, laughed at the crowd, which were really interesting. Got checked out by lezbians....lol it was fun haha. Then afterwards, my brother and his friends showed up and they are young and silly. So they hit up the dance floor and entertained us. We stayed and watched 3 performances. The "queens" basically lip sync to I guess their song of choice. The last one was probable the best I thought.....or maybe I just was thinking that she/he had a better body then me lol. After the 3rd performance there was a raffle for 3 month Free pass to Fitness World and I won it...yay, I'll put that to good use getting in shape for my "BIG DAY" hehe. Before calling it a night, we decided to go to Fritz's. For those of you who don't know, Fritz's is a place on Davie which is famous for their fries and poutine..... everything is fresh!! It's really good!! But the thing to new comers that don't know is that the owner is really rude lol, sorta like the soup nazi from Sienfeld. Basically as soon as you come in you shout out your order to him. Yeah.....Susan did not like him LOL!!! After our poutines, we called it a night and headed home. New Year for a New Career...

Well, I'm finally done school now....yay and I have managed to find myself a great job =D. After weeks of searching and getting a little stressed out. Two interviews later, I have landed (what I hope) the perfect job for me. The company is called Hidden Trails...www.hiddentrails.com.... They are a private travel wholesale company that specializes in Equestrian and Outdoor Adventures. It's gonna be a big change from flying and interacting with the public in person, I'm in this HUGE office that I share with one other person, and big windows that overlook False Creek and downtown Vancouver, it's soo pretty. Can't wait to have my lunches out there once it gets nice out again. Aside from great pay, I get weekends off and holidays and after 3 months medical and dental too. Hours are good, I can choose to work from 7am-3, 8am-4, or 9-5. Chris is really happy for me! I start tomorrow and I'm really excited and nervous too cause i want to make a good impression. And if this works out, after the wedding, maybe we can start poping out little ones in another few years heheh!!!

Saturday Night, Chris and I checked out the Taboo...Naughty but Nice Sex Show at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Canada Place. Since we got the tickets from my brother we figured...why not. When we got there at 8pm....it was PACKED!! First it took us a while to find parking...well only 10 mins which wasn't bad for a saturday nite...good thing I was driving hehe.

When we got inside, had to wait another 5-10 mins to get inside, there was a line up....I thought I was going Clubbing, lots of different age groups old and young! When we got inside there were lots of booths set up, Porn Stars signing autographs lol....I asked Chris if he wanted one and he said no...I wonder cause I was there with him lol. There was this Booth that had this thing called " HypnoOrgasim" it's like some sorta of Therapy session that relives stress,wieght-loss (apparantly) and other stuff lol. Anyways basically they showed this video of the girl being fingered by this guy and then all of a sudden all her juices were squirting out everywhere....it was sorta gross and funny. She looked like she was convulsing or having a sesure....I dunno it was wierd!! I asked Chris(for fun) if I won the free session if he would let me do it and he said NO! lol. We entered ourselves to other contestes. Like the all inclusive to a Hedonism Resort...haha if we won, would we really go?? I guess so, cause its free but that would be soo wierd and uncomfortable, I wonder if they would let us wear clothes lol. Oh and then there was this torturing room, for you people that like the real kinky stuff like whips and chains and what not. This women was on this man and I guess its suppose to be art or just...I dont know, but anyways she was biting him lol really hard.....cause his face was red and he looked like he was in pain but I guess thats pleasure for them lol, and theres this club in Vancouver that does a night of Leather and stuff, you go dressed in those crazy sex outfits and it looks crazy and wierd too. Anyways, we finally ended the night with a fashion show and a Buslesque show, again all wierd and interesting at the same time. All in All it was fun.

This post is a bit older, since last wednesday, becuase I have been lazy and Liz says she needs more to read. Wednesday, (I think it was Wednesday) Liz came over to make Rylan's birthday cards and since her and Bryan had plans in the evening, Liz had to go to her trainer and Bry had a family meeting, we thought we'd make it easy for them and let Rylan stay with us instead of lugging him around. He was a good boy....as always when he is with us.....a monster with his mommy hehe!! We danced to "Dancing Queen," played with random objects around the house and Rylan really enjoys his little music carrier. Heres a few pictures of the evening =D

Hitting the Slopes

Last night, Chris and I got invited to go skiing/boarding up at Cypress Mountain with my brother Dave, his girlfriend Lorraine and a couple of their friends. We got a chance to get up to Blackcomb over the holidays and it was awesome.....soo much snow and powder!!! This time we figure it'd be a fun chance to get up to our local mountain and with all the snow we've been getting we thought it would be good. Plus how can you say no to free!! When we got there it wasn't as busy as I expected it to be. Acutally not too many people were around, which was nice cause then you don't have to wait for long lines at the lifts. After doing a few runs with Dave and his friends, Chris and I went our seperate ways and did the last couple of hours on the other side of the mountain. As much as I love being around friends and family, its nice to have the alone time with just the two of us. Chris is very helpful, encouraging and patient when I'm snowboarding....happy to say that I'm getting a lot better. Only wiped once.....and I can now carve on both sides hehe. It felt nice to be outside in the fresh air and my body will probably hate me tomorrow for it. Cypress has some good snow not as great as Blackcomb but we both had a good time. Thats about it....enjoy some of our pictures =D

1997-2007

2007 is here....WoW I can't believe it's been 10 years since I've graduated from HS, seems as though it was just yesterday!!

So what have I accomplished in the last 10 years... I have been in and out of love many times, I guess that I'm the type who needs to try out many pairs of shoes before I finally find the perfect one. I got to travel a whole lot, all across Canada from Victoria to Halifax, The Caribbean, Asia, United States. I got to be a Flight Attendant...so far was the best job I ever had. I had a chance to move away from home and live in another province. I got to witness three of my closest friends from HS and Elementry School get married. All my other friends that have started their precious little families. For the first time in my life, my weight has been stable and I feel good about myself. The best thing of course was meeting Chris.....never in my life I thought I would find somebody whom I love and adore so much. He is the one person who can always tear down my "walls" when I am angry or sad. I know I will always be able to trust him and he will do anything to make me happy. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. So within this 10 year period I have managed to get engaged and will be married on August 18 2007. Looking back I'm pretty happy with my accomplishments and all the events that took place. Now looking foward to another great and wonderful 10 years!!

A New Year means new beginnings and a few resolutions:
1. Find A Job (Waaaa, all work and no play makes.....)
2. Work Out More (hopefully at least 3-5 tmes a week)
3. Do The Sun Run (or walk...maybe)
4. Spend Less ( yeah rite)
